Abstract
The Regulations regulate use of specified nets (reg. 2), size of fish (regs. 3-4), sale of sardines for bait (reg. 5), protected areas for specified fish (reg. 6), and dragging of nets (reg. 7).
In section 2 the maximum allowed length and width of various kinds of nets is specified. It is forbidden in the territorial waters to use other kinds of nets or the nets specified for other purposes than indicated. No fish less than the specified size shall be sold or exposed for sale (regs. 3 and 4). No fish, shellfish, crabs or shrimp shall be taken in specified areas of river mouths (reg. 6). Fish trapped in dragging nets or seine in water less than three feet of depth shall be released (reg. 7).
