Abstract
This Act prohibits the importation of mongoose and the possession of live mongoose. It also confers powers of public officers to destroy mongoose. The Chief Technical Officer (Agriculture) may issue an Order to the occupier or owner of any land, directing him or her to take all such measures as may be necessary for the destruction of mongoose on his or her land.
