Declaration of the Outer Limits of the Continental Shelf 2012 (L.N. No. 11 of 2012).

This Order, made under section 12(3) of the Maritime Zones Act 2012, defines, in Schedule 1, the continental shelf of Tuvalu towards the high seas and Kiribati, and the provisional outer limits of the continental shelf towards the Islands of Wallis and Futuna and Fiji. It also: includes an illustrative chart in Schedule 2 and a guide to reading Schedule 1; specifies relevant treaties for points indicated in Schedule 1 and declares that where a treaty between a neighbouring State and Tuvalu remains to be finalised, Tuvalu has chosen to declare a provisional median line along its border with that State.
