Abstract
This Act aims to provide a legal framework in Tuvalu to encourage, facilitate, consolidate and streamline direct foreign investment proposals and projects in order to stimulate growth, employment, and productivity in the private sector economy, and to remove discriminatory impediments to foreign direct investment. The text comprises 9 Articles and among others refer to establishment of Foreign Investment Facilitation Board; duties and responsibilities of the Board; its powers; reports to Minister; and action to be taken by the Minister or Cabinet.
