Abstract
This Act concerns the control and management of harbours. It grants powers to the Minister to declare places to be a harbour for the purposes of this Ordinance and to appoint harbour masters and port officers for such harbours.
Provisions of this Act regulate a variety of matters including pilotage, the carrying of explosives or other dangerous materials by vessels, port facilities, inspections, the discharge of sewage or oil in waters, anchorage and regulation-making powers of the Minister.
