Abstract
This Act grants regulation-making powers to the Minister and enables agricultural officers to regularly inspect all animals and poultry for purposes of prevention and control of an outbreak of diseases affecting livestock animals, including bees, in Tuvalu. The Act also provides for compensation to owners of animals destroyed under this Act. The Act also requires the separation and treatment of diseased livestock and provides for vaccination and quarantine.
