Abstract
This Act provides amendments with regard to Articles 47 and 66 of the Merchant Shipping Act 1988 covering the issues of compliance with the international maritime Conventions and Convention's Code; adapting a preliminary investigation in accordance with the Code of the International Standards and Recommended Practices for a Safety Investigation into a Marine Casualty or Marine Incident adopted by the International Maritime Organization; and adapting a Marine Inquiry. The text consists of 6 Articles.
