Tuvalo National Gender Policy.

The National Gender Policy aims to provide the guiding framework to operationalize Government’s commitments to gender equality and women’s empowerment in Tuvalu. The Policy outlines the specific areas that the Government will focus on within the next five years and provides the basis for multi-sectoral engagement and partnerships towards the overarching goal of gender equality and the empowerment of women. The Policy vision is to build a society where women and men are recognised as equal partners in all aspects of development, are protected from all forms of discrimination and violence, and can equally access and benefit from the growth and development of the country.
