Environmental Health Practitioners (Registration) Act, 2007 (No. 20 of 2007).

This Act makes provision for the control of Environment Health Practitioners and prescribes rules relative to their practice.
The Act establishes the Environment Health Practitioners Registration Council for purposes of registration of Environment Health Practitioners and the regulation of their conduct. The Council may advise the Minister on issue pertaining to environmental health and may issues a code of conduct for Environment Health Practitioners. “Environmental” in this Act means all aspects of human health and disease that are determined by factors in the environment and includes the theory and practice of assessing and controlling factors in the environment that can potentially affect health.
