Environmental Management (Fees and Charges) Regulations, 2021 (G.N. No.387 of 2021).

These Regulations consisting of 8 articles apply in relation to an act or service in respect of which fees and charges are payable under the Environmental Management Act and the related Regulations. The fees and charges are prescribed in Article 4 and detailed in the Schedule concern (i) Environmental Impact Assessment; (ii) Environmental Experts Registration Fees; (iii) Environmental Compliance Monitoring and Audit; (iv) Fees for Environmental Quality Standards; (v) Fees for Ozone Depleting Substances; (vi) Fees for hazardous Waste permits; (vii) Fees for Electrical and Electronic Equipment Waste permits; (viii) Fees for Health Care Wastes; (ix) Fees for Solid Waste permits; (x) Fees for Biosafety permits; (xi) Fees for Noise permits; (xii) Fees for Vibration permits. The fees and charges are payable in respect of an application made the services rendered, and a permit issued (art.5).
