Fisheries (Amendment) Regulations, GN 492 of 2020.

This Amendment consisting of 18 articles modifies the principal Regulations as follows (i) introducing the concept of blue economy among the definitions and as a fishing industry development path; (ii) some licensing details provided for at article 11; (iii) including the import trade among the activities dealt with in article 13; (iv) modifying some provisions regarding the sportfishing licenses; (v) fishing and landing logbook recording rules for the vessel master; (vi) establishing the Fisheries Cooperative Societies; (vii) intervening on the compounding offenses; (viii) bringing attention to aquatic ecosystems regarding pollution; (ix) establishing rules for the disturbance of critical habitats provided for at article 54; (x) providing rules for fishing in lakes; (xi) giving weight rules for lobster fishing; (xii) adding the new Schedules if changed.
