Abstract
An Ordinance to provide for the control of agricultural produce to be exported from Tanganyika for purposes of food safety. No person shall export except from a prescribed port and only after the produce has been inspected and/or branded in a manner as prescribed by provisions of this Ordinance (sect. 3). Section 4 provides for a prohibition of produce which is unsound. Meat and diary products shall only be exported if slaughtered or prepared at registered premises (sect. 6). The Governor in Council may make rules to provide for matters specified in section 10.
