Written Law (Miscellaneous Amendments), Act No. 2 of 2025 - Amendment of the Mining Act (CAP. 123)

This Act, together with other legislation, amends the Mining Act by adding Article 88A which requires all public sector entities, including government ministries, local authorities, and state-owned bodies, to withhold and remit royalties and inspection fees, at the legally prescribed rate, and allows the Mining Commission to recover unpaid fees through future payments, thereby ensuring compliance and accountability in public construction projects.
