Agreement between the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of Ukraine and the Ministry of Environment of the Republic of Lithuania on cooperation in the field of environmental protection.

Cooperation of the Parties in the field of environmental protection shall be carried out in the following areas: (a) climate change; (b) the quality of atmospheric air; (c) prevention and reduction of environmental pollution; (d) waste management; (e) protection of water, land and soil; (f) environmental impact assessment and strategic environmental assessment; (g) environmental monitoring and information systems; (h) territories and objects of the nature reserve fund; (i) preservation of biological and landscape diversity and development of ecological network; (j) management of natural resources; (k) environmental protection and environmental risk assessment of genetically modified organisms; (l) environmental awareness; and (m) any other areas of cooperation which the Parties consider necessary.
