Abstract
The Parties shall exchange technical information and carry out cooperation in the field of nuclear and radiation safety in accordance with the national legislation of both states and international treaties to which both Ukraine and the Republic of Armenia are parties. The Parties shall cooperate in the following fields: (a) continuation of NPP operation in over-project term; (b) safety of nuclear installations during their life cycle; (c) radiation protection and safety of radioactive waste and sources of ionizing radiation; (d) licensing of nuclear facilities and operating personnel; (e) organization and carrying out of safety assessment of objects of nuclear energy and sources of ionizing radiation; (f) organization and performance of assessment of measures to increase the physical protection of nuclear facilities and radioactive materials; and (g) development, application and review of normative, technical and methodological documentation in the field of regulation of nuclear and radiation safety.
