Decree No. 1098 of the Cabinet of Ministers validation of the Regulation on calculation of the amount of damages caused as a result of non-performance of rehabilitation of disturbed land.

This Decree establishes that the losses caused to owners and users of land plots as a result of non-performance of rehabilitation of disturbed land in accordance with in the working land management project on rehabilitation of disturbed land related to land rehabilitation after mining, exploration, construction and other works, which caused changes in relief structure, ecological state of soil and in the hydrological regime of land, shall be reimbursed on the basis of decisions of land commissions calculated on the basis of a formula contained in this Decree. Compensation of damages and losses does not exempt the officials concerned from the performance in the prescribed manner of rehabilitation of disturbed land.
