Abstract
This Procedure determines the mechanism for reimbursing expenses for providing free meals to children who suffered from the Chernobyl disaster and study in institutions of professional, specialized pre-higher education located in the territories of radioactive contamination, as well as children with disabilities associated with the consequences of the Chernobyl disaster who study in educational institutions located outside the territories of radioactive contamination. Reimbursement of food expenses is carried out by the Pension Fund of Ukraine at the location of the educational institution from the funds of the budget program “Social protection of citizens who have found themselves in difficult life circumstances”, provided for by the Ministry of Social Policy. The costs of providing students with one-time hot meals (lunch) are subject to reimbursement, regardless of the frequency of meals established by the educational institution, provided that the educational institution organizes the learning process in a full-time form or with a combination of full-time and distance learning. The cost of a single hot meal (lunch) for one student, subject to reimbursement in accordance with this Procedure, cannot exceed the cost of a single hot meal (lunch) for students of other preferential categories, organized exclusively at the expense of the local budget. Reimbursement of food expenses is made monthly for the meals actually provided for students on school days during the academic year.
