Decree No. 312 validating the Regulation on the procedure for performance of ecological expert assessment of documentation submitted for registration of pesticides and agrochemicals.

This Decree establishes the mandatory procedure for performance of ecological expert assessment of documentation submitted for registration of pesticides and agrochemicals. Ecological expert assessment of the documentation shall be performed by the appropriate structural unit of the Ministry of Environmental Protection of Ukraine for the purpose of checking the registration materials for compliance with the requirements for the biological effectiveness of the preparation, its safety for the natural environment, in particular the influence of the preparation of a certain group on non-target objects of the natural ecosystem according to the list (Annex 1), elaboration of recommendations on conditions and restrictions on the use of the preparation and the possibility of its registration or re-registration. The outcome of the ecological expert assessment shall be legalized according to the certificates contained in the Annexes II-IV.
