Decree No. 995 of the Cabinet of Ministers setting up central executive bodies and establishing competence thereof.

This Decree sets up the following central executive bodies: (a) State Agency for Tourism Development of Ukraine is the central executive body, whose activity is directed and coordinated by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine through the Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports and which implements the state policy in the sphere of tourism and resorts (except for the state supervision (control) in the sphere of tourism and resorts) ; (b) State Inspectorate of Cultural Heritage of Ukraine is the Central Executive Body, whose activities are directed and coordinated by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine through the Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports and which implements state policy of supervision in the field of cultural heritage protection; (c) State Service for the Protection of Cultural Heritage of Ukraine is the central executive body, whose activities are directed and coordinated by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine through the Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, and which implements the state policy in the fields of cultural heritage protection, museum activity, export, import and return of cultural property.
