Framework Agreement between the Government of Ukraine and the Government of the French Republic for Official Project Support on Potable Water Supply to the city of Mariupol.

The scope of this Framework Agreement is an investment project for supply of potable water to the city of Mariupol. The subject of the Project implementation is a duly authorized by Mariupol City Council utility company. The French Party shall provide official support to the Ukrainian Party in the form of a loan, aimed at financing the Project. The Project is one of the priorities of the Government of Ukraine and will allow the city of Mariupol to improve the quality of services of vital importance for the population, by improving the quality of drinking water and reducing its losses. The Project as well provides for the development of a Master Plan to improve the water supply system and sewerage of Mariupol until 2040. In order to promote sustainable development, the Parties agree on the need to support compliance with social and environmental standards.
