Government Resolution No. 267 of the Cabinet of Ministers validating the Regulation on the Ministry of Health.

The Ministry of Health (MOH) is the central executive body, the activities of which are directed and coordinated by the Cabinet of Ministers. The main functions of the Ministry shall be as follows: (a) promotion of a healthy lifestyle, responsible attitude to one's health and prevention of risk factors, food safety, biological safety and biological protection; (b) combating antimicrobial resistance, formation of state policy in the areas of sanitary and epidemiological well-being of the population; (c) monitoring the health status of the population; (d) establishes nutritional standards and recommendations for compiling food kits for the donor on the day of donating blood and (or) its components; (e) maintaining state register of disinfectants; and (f) conducting state social and hygienic monitoring.
