Abstract
The Law consists of 7 Sections that contain 41 articles. The present Law establishes legal, organizational, economic and social bases of the functioning of cooperation in Ukraine. Section 1(arts. 1-5) lays general provisions. Section 2 (arts. 6-29) introduces the concept of cooperative. Section 3 (arts. 30 – 33) regards associations of cooperatives. Section 4 (arts. 34-36) regards labour relations in cooperative. Section 5 (arts. 37-38) regards relationship between the state and cooperatives. Section 6 (arts. 39-40) regards external ties and international activity of cooperatives. Section 7 (art. 41) lays down final provisions.
