Ministerial Decree No. 1065 validating the Regulation on the modalities of withdrawal, recycling and annihilation of agricultural raw materials and foodstuffs unsuitable for consumption.

The Regulation establishes the terms and conditions for the withdrawal, recycling and annihilation of agricultural raw materials and foodstuffs in the process of manufacturing, storage and transport of which pesticides and agrochemicals have been used and which are unsuitable for consumption either by human beings or as animal feed and cannot be processed. The following items shall be subject to withdrawal, recycling and annihilation: 1) agricultural commodities obtained as the result of field state testing of new pesticides and agrochemicals; 2) agricultural raw materials and foodstuffs not complying with the criteria of the state sanitary, hygienic and veterinary expertise, certification testing and the state supervision over the observance of the legislation on pesticides and agrochemicals. In case of industrial recycling of agricultural commodities or foodstuffs contaminated by pesticides and agrochemicals for the subsequent utilization for technical purposes the arrangements preventing environmental pollution must be applied. The final products shall be subject to laboratory testing for the compliance with MRL.
