Ministerial Decree No.1809 of 1998 regarding the additional measures on the prevention of import of injurious liqueurs and alcohol products.

The Government, for the purpose of prevention of import of injurious liqueurs and alcohol products, decrees to establish that compliancy certificate for imported liqueurs and alcohol products are issued exclusively on the grounds of attestation of the production premises carried out by the bodies of State Committee on standardization, Metrology and Certification in accordance with the system of standardization DSTU 3414-96. State Committee on standardization, Metrology and Certification is authorized to include the representatives of State Committee on Monopoly for Processing and Circulation of Alcohol, Alcoholic Beverages and Tobaccos into the attestation commissions. Compliancy certificates for liqueurs and alcohol products manufactured in series, issued in accordance with the present Ministerial Decree, have the validity till the expiry date specified in them.
