Ministerial Decree No.399 of 1993 regarding compensation for procuring animal and plant species recorded in the Red Book of Ukraine and damage caused to the aforesaid species.

Cabinet of Ministers decrees to validate rates for the calculation of compensation for damage caused by any enterprises, institutions, organizations and citizens by illegal procurement (harvest), annihilation or damage caused to: 1. protected and endangered animal species recorded in the Red Book of Ukraine, having permanent or temporary habitats in the natural environment of Ukraine, its territorial waters, continental shelf and EEZ (in accordance with the Annex 1); 2. species recorded in the Red Book of Ukraine by worsening their natural habitats, by accidents when it is impossible to calculate the exact number of annihilated animals (in accordance with the Annex 2); 3. plant species recorded in the Red Book of Ukraine, the European Red Book and their growing grounds (in accordance with the Annex 3).
