Order No. 141 of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food validating the Procedure for granting the status of an official veterinarian, an authorized veterinarian, a slaughterhouse official authorized to perform the duties of an assistant to the state veterinary inspector, and their activities.

Abstract
This Order establishes that official veterinarian shall be considered authorized person with practical experience of no less than two years, higher education degree not lower than the degree of expert/master in veterinary medicine. Authorized veterinarian must have experience in practical work on a specialty no less than one year. Slaughterhouse workers authorized to perform state assistant duties of veterinary inspector, have the right to serve as an assistant to the state Veterinary Inspector exercising the state control of fresh poultry meat and hares, and only in relation to technical assistance necessary for the fulfillment of the tasks of the state veterinary inspector. The decision to confer the status of the authorized person in the sphere of veterinary medicine shall be legalized in the form of order issued by the territorial competent body. In meat processing shops, on slaughterhouses of small capacity, regardless of form of property, without the continuous process of animal processing and in slaughter shops of poultry farms and other facilities state control shall be performed by an official veterinarian.
