Order No. 154 of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food validating the Regulation on determination of pedigree value of breeding stock by origin, productivity, quality of offspring and testing of breeding stock for the quality of offspring and the procedure for the identification of authorized institutions (organizations) and selection centers.

This Order regulates the procedure for determination of pedigree value of breeding stock by origin, productivity, quality of offspring and testing of breeding stock for the quality of offspring and the procedure for the identification of authorized institutions (organizations) and selection centers. It shall not be applicable to poultry, fishes, apiculture, silkworms, rabbits and fur-bearing animals. This procedure applies to subjects of breeding activities in livestock regardless of their organizational and legal form, who are owners of pedigree (genetic) resources or are business entities that participate in determining the breeding value of pedigree (genetic) resources. The breeding stock should come from pedigree animals of higher pedigree (genetic) value, have results of genetic examination of origin and animal anomalies, evaluated by origin, by their own productivity and quality of their offspring, or tested for the quality of offspring, and the obtained data must meet the requirements of the pedigree breeding standards.
