Order No. 160 of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources validating the Regulation on the landscape reserve of national significance "Great and Small Bugaikha".

Landscape reserve of national significance "Great and Small Bugaikha" is an integral part of the nature reserve fund of Ukraine, protected as a national heritage, for which a special regime of protection, reproduction and use is established. The reserve was created with the aim of preserving in its natural state forest-covered areas, where more than 10 species of plants, listed in the Red Book of Ukraine, and numerous wild fauna species have their natural habitats. The main tasks of the reserve are: (a) creation of conditions for preservation in a natural state of forest-covered areas, which are represented by deciduous species of trees; (b) preservation of plant species listed in the Red Book of Ukraine; (c) creation of conditions for the preservation of rare and endangered wild fauna species, including birds, listed in the Red Book of Ukraine; (d) dissemination of environmental knowledge; (e) recreational activities; and (f) maintaining the overall ecological balance in the region.
