Order No. 170 of the Ministry of Interior validating the Regulation on the particulars of issuing permits to the citizens of Ukraine for the acquisition, storage and carrying of hunting weapons and ammunition for them during martial law.

This Order establishes that temporarily during the legal regime of martial law: (a) issuance of the authorization for purchase, keeping and carrying hunting firearms, smoothbore weapons and ammunition thereto to citizens by the authorized bodies of the National police shall be performed at the place of residence of the applicant upon submittal of written request in the presence of identity document; the following shall be attached to the application: copies of the pages of the passport of a citizen of Ukraine (for persons who have been issued a passport of a citizen of Ukraine with contactless electronic media - a copy of passport and extract from the Unified State Demographic Register); if available, a copy of the military card of privates, sergeants and sergeant majors, military card of a reserve officer, a copy of the certificate of a pensioner or veteran of military service, law enforcement agencies, National Police of Ukraine, National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine, Judicial Protection Service, State Fire Service, State Service for Special Communications and Information Protection of Ukraine, Civil Protection Service, Tax Police, Bureau of Economic Security of Ukraine or the State Penitentiary Service of Ukraine, or a copy of the certificate of a member of a public organization for public order, or a copy of a weapons permit; and (b) permits for the purchase, keeping and carrying of hunting weapons are issued, reissued after conducting inspection, if possible, by the police in the prescribed manner, the duration of which should not exceed two days.
