Requirements for materials and objects containing vinyl chloride and intended for contact with foodstuffs establish safety indicators for materials and objects, containing vinyl chloride and intended for contact with foodstuffs. These Requirements relate to the presence of vinyl chloride monomer and its possible migration from materials and articles made of vinyl chloride polymers or copolymers that are intended for contact with foodstuffs or that come into contact with foodstuffs and are intended for such purpose. Materials and objects must not contain vinyl chloride monomer at the amount exceeding maximum acceptable level, which is no more than one milligram per kilogram of material or product.
