Order No. 234 of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food validating the Regulation on procedure for the attribution of status of business entity in the field of breeding and selection activity related to apiculture.

This Order establishes the procedure for attribution of status of business entity in the field of breeding and selection activity related to apiculture. The procedure shall be applicable to business entities operating in the sphere of breeding and selection activities that are owners of pedigree genetic resources and perform production, conservation, use, selection, and determination of pedigree value of genetic resources and offer services in the field of pedigree breeding and selection activity. The status of a breeding farm for beekeeping, bee breeder and a pedigree apiary is assigned to breeders in livestock breeding, which provide: (a) breeding and reproduction of bees of a certain breed in the presence of results of laboratory tests conducted in accordance with the procedure established by law regarding the confirmation of pure breed of bee families; and (b) comply with the Plan of pedigree bee breeds zoning.
