Abstract
The State sanitary norms and regulations establish hygienic requirements for the transportation of foodstuffs by air, water and railroad. Foodstuffs shall require special conditions of transportation that must ensure conservation of quality and safety thereof for human health. Specially marked means of transport shall be used for the transportation of foodstuffs. Each lot of foodstuffs shall be accompanied by compliance certificate, hygienic certificate issued by the state service of sanitary and epidemiological expertise, certificate of the state registration of foodstuffs. Carcasses of meat shall be accompanied by veterinary reference and veterinary certificate. Grain, its derivates, vegetables, fruits and berries shall be accompanied by quality certificate and quarantine authorization. Railroad transport means (isothermal cars, refrigerator cars), and also containers and vessels shall have sanitary passport of the established modalities. The conditions of the transportation of foodstuffs must prevent spoilage and pollution thereof.
