Order No. 25/52 of the State Committee of Regulatory Policy and Entrepreneurship validating licensing requirements for carrying out entrepreneurial activity connected with manufacturing, storage and trade of pedigree (genetic) resources, genetic expertise of the origin and anomalies of animals.

The present licensing requirements shall be applicable to all legal persons irrespectively of the organizational and legal form carrying out entrepreneurial activity connected with manufacturing, storage and trade of pedigree (genetic) resources, genetic expertise of the origin and anomalies of animals, and also to natural persons carrying out activity in the aforesaid sphere. The Ministry of Agrarian Policy shall be the licensing authority. The applicants must forward the application form in conformity with the Annexes 1-4 to the Ministry of Agrarian Policy for examination. The following activities shall be licensed: 1) manufacturing of pedigree (genetic) resources (with the designation of some types of pedigree (genetic) resources, and also of breed (crossbred) of animals specified in the breeding certificate; 2) conservation and trade of pedigree (genetic) resources (with the designation of some types of pedigree (genetic) resources: frozen sperm, embryos and also of breed of animals specified in breeding certificate; 3) carrying out genetic expertise of origin and anomalies of animals. Activity regarding manufacturing of pedigree (genetic) resources, including animals and incubation eggs, shall be carried out in the presence of pedigree certificates for pedigree (genetic) resources.
