Order No. 261 of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources validating the Regulation on technological norms of permissible emissions of pollutants from equipment (installation) for manufacturing of steel (primary and secondary melting), with the productivity exceeding 2,5 tons per hour (installations of gas-oxygen refining of steel).

This Regulation establishes maximum permissible limits of emissions of pollutants from equipment (installation) for manufacturing of or manufacturing of steel (primary and secondary melting), with the productivity exceeding 2, 5 tons per hour (installations of gas-oxygen refining of steel). It also sets limits for concentration of hazardous substances in emissions. These technological norms establish current and long-term standards for permissible emission of pollutants into the atmospheric air from stationary installations projected for direct manufacturing of steel by the technology of gas-oxygen refining in converter units with bottom blowing, working in the mode of full burning of carbon monoxide and equipped with a wet-purifying gas plant on the basis of the Venturi pipe.
