Order No. 67 of the Ministry of Environmental Protection validating the Instruction on the contents and composition of the state register of the protected areas and objects.

The Instruction establishes the contents and composition of the state register of protected areas and objects, unified requirements for the filling in thereof and term of submittal of the documents. The Instruction shall contain data on zoological collections, protected areas, nature reserves and the classification thereof by the degree of importance as international, national, regional. Protected areas of international importance shall include biosphere reserves and protected and endangered species recorded in the Red Book of IUCN. Protected areas of national importance shall include protected animals and protected plants and trees recorded in the national Red Book and Green Book. Protected areas of regional importance shall include protected animals and protected plants and trees at the regional level. Protected areas of local importance shall include objects excluded from the three preceding three categories. The State Service of Nature Reserves shall be responsible for keeping the state register of the protected areas and objects. Data of the state register shall be published once in five years.
