Abstract
These Hygienic requirements for the production and circulation of foodstuffs of animal origin shall apply to food market operators (except for food market operators specified in subparagraph 2 of this paragraph) who carry out exports or have declared to the competent authority their readiness to carry out such exports, from the date of entry into force of this Order. These Requirements apply to relations related to the production and circulation of the following food products of animal origin: (a) meat of domestic ungulates, poultry, lagomorphs, wild animals and wild animals raised on a farm; (b) minced (chopped or chopped) meat (minced meat), semi-finished meat products and mechanically deboned meat; (c) meat products; (d) live bivalve molluscs, live echinoderms, live coelenterates and live marine gastropods; (e) fish products; (f) eggs and egg products; (g) frog legs and snails; (h) rendered animal fats and greaves; (i) processed stomachs, bladders and intestines; (j) highly purified products of animal origin; and (k) gelatin and collagen. These Requirements are mandatory for: (a) food market operators carrying out activities related to the production and/or circulation of the aforesaid foodstuffs of animal origin; and (b) state veterinary inspectors and veterinary medicine specialists who, in accordance with the requirements of the legislation on state control, are granted the authority to carry out state control measures at the relevant facility (farm). The production and circulation of foodstuffs of animal origin must be carried out using facilities that are registered or for which an operating permit has been issued for the relevant type of activity, if the obligation of state registration or obtaining an operating permit is established by the Law. These Hygienic requirements establish procedure for transportation and slaughtering of live animals, storage, packaging and shipment of meat and meat-based products.
