Resolution No. 478 of the Cabinet of Ministers validating the Regulation on approval of animal breeding facilities for export, import and high-risk activities.

This Regulation establishes the procedure for the approval of animal breeding facilities for export, import and high-risk activities. The following types of animal breeding facilities shall be classified as high-risk activities: (a) facilities that pose high risk of spreading animal diseases; (b) aquaculture facilities destined for transfer (transportation) of aquaculture species or aquaculture products; (c) aquaculture facilities posing risk of spreading of fish diseases; and (d) aquaculture facilities destined for slaughtering or processing of aquatic animals for the purpose of controlling animal diseases. For the export and import of animals, the following types of animal husbandry facilities are subject to approval: (a) collection centers for ungulates and/or poultry intended for the export of such animals and/or poultry from Ukraine and/or their importation (import) from other countries; (b) capacity for production and/or circulation of reproductive material of cattle, sheep, goats, pigs and horses intended for export from Ukraine; (c) hatcheries (incubation workshops) and facilities for keeping breeding poultry, where hatching eggs are hatched and stored and/or poultry are kept, intended for export from Ukraine; and (d) facilities for keeping poultry intended for export from Ukraine (except for facilities for keeping poultry intended for slaughter or production of hatching eggs).
