Resolution No. 503 of the Cabinet of Ministers establishing the Ukrainian State Concern for Horticulture, Viticulture and Winemaking Industry.

This Resolution establishes the Ukrainian State Concern for Horticulture, Viticulture and Winemaking Industry (Concern Ukrsadvinprom) as a single production and economic complex that will unite enterprises, institutions, and organizations that carry out activities related to nursery, horticulture and viticulture, production of wine products, canning of fruits, berries and grapes, scientific and service maintenance of this sphere of activity, as well as those that have common economic and social interests. Ukrsadvinprom concern shall perform the following main tasks: (a) promoting reform of the agricultural sector of the economy for meeting public needs in fruits, berries, grapes, wine and canned products; (b) participation in the implementation of measures for state support for the development of collective gardening and viticulture; (c) creating conditions for increasing the efficiency of use of land, property, funds, raw materials and other resources; (d) development and implementation of unified technical approaches in the field of horticulture, nursery farming, viticulture and winemaking, aimed at achieving world-class levels of production technology and product quality; (e) promoting the targeted use of funds for the development of viticulture, horticulture and nursery production in accordance with the procedure determined by the Cabinet of Ministers; (f) coordination of the work of associations, enterprises and organizations engaged in the cultivation of seedlings, fruits, berries, grapes, and the production of wine and canned products; (g) establishing mutually beneficial ties between domestic and foreign manufacturers; (h) marketing the existing market of fruits, berries, grapes and products of their processing, development of new sales markets; and (i) optimization of sectoral and inter-sectoral cooperation in the field of horticulture, viticulture, nursery and winemaking industry.
