Resolution No. 637 of the Cabinet of Ministers validating the Procedure for verifying the compliance of the purchaser or owner of the agricultural plot of land with the requirements specified in Article 130 of the Land Code of Ukraine.

This Procedure defines the procedure for checking the compliance of the acquirer or owner of an agricultural land plot with the requirements specified in Article 130 (related to purchase of agricultural land) of the Land Code of Ukraine, with the aim of preventing the purchase of ownership rights to agricultural land plots by natural persons and legal entities who are prohibited from acquiring such a right in accordance with the legislation. The effect of this Order does not extend to relations concerning the purchase of the right of ownership of an agricultural plot of land by a territorial community or the state. Verification of the compliance of the acquirer of the ownership right to the agricultural land plot with the requirements defined by Article 130 of the Land Code of Ukraine, in particular regarding the restrictions on the total area of agricultural land plots, which one person has the right to acquire as ownership, is carried out by a notary public. The buyer is checked before the notary certifies the deed of alienation of the agricultural plot of land. Verification of the compliance of the owner of the agricultural plot of land with the requirements specified in Article 130 of the Land Code of Ukraine is carried out by the body that exercises state control over the use and protection of land.
