Abstract
These Rules, made under section 1(a) of the Animal Diseases Act, declare various diseases to be included in the term “disease” for the purposes of the Act. The diseases are: (a) all tick-borne diseases of cattle; (b) atrophic rhinitis of pigs; (c) bovine spongiform encephalopathy (BSE); (d) brucellosis; (e) epi-vaginitis; (f) fowl pox; (g) infectious bursal disease (Gumboro disease); (h) Johne’s disease; (i) lumpy skin disease of cattle; (j) Newcastle disease of poultry; (k) peste des petits ruminants; (l) trichomoniasis; and (m) vibriosis.
