Food and Drugs (Food Fortification) (Amendment) Regulations, 2011.

These regulations, enacted under the authority of the Minister of Health, amend the Food and Drugs (Food Fortification) Regulations, 2005. Key changes include defining "foodstuff" in the Fifth Schedule, mandating that all foodstuffs in Uganda comply with national fortification standards, and revoking a sub-regulation in Regulation 5. Additionally, a new Fifth Schedule is introduced, specifying that milled maize products, edible fats and oils, and wheat flour—whether produced domestically or imported—must meet fortification requirements.
