The overall objective of the guidelines and standards is to steer the agricultural sector in the provision of coordinated, effective and efficient agricultural extension and advisory services. The text aims to provide clear guidelines among others for collaborations and linkages amongst AEAS actors; targeting of agricultural extension clients; capacity of agricultural extension service providers; farmer institution development; and farmer innovations and indigenous knowledge. The text is designed in 5 Sections.
