Roadmap for the Implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals in Uganda (SDGs 2020/21 – 2024/25).

The Uganda National SDG Roadmap (2020/21–2024/25) is a five-year framework for coordinating and implementing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) during NDP III, aligned with Vision 2040 and informed by earlier reviews and COVID-19 impacts. It focuses on five key areas: coordination, monitoring and evaluation, SDG data systems, communication and advocacy, planning and mainstreaming, and resource mobilization. Key actions include strengthening the SDG Secretariat and Technical Working Groups, integrating SDG indicators into national systems, expanding data availability, enhancing public awareness, promoting public–private partnerships, and improving financing mechanisms. Implementation involves coordinated roles across government, development partners, civil society, and the private sector, with monitoring through national and local reviews and reporting systems. The Roadmap also addresses challenges such as data gaps, capacity constraints, and limited funding, proposing solutions like Information Communication Technology (ICT) improvements, capacity building, and better coordination.
