Seeds and Plant Regulations, 2016.

These Regulations amis to promote, regulate and control plant breeding, variety release, multiplication, conditioning, marketing, importing and quality assurance of seeds and other planting materials and for other related matters. the text contains 56 Articles divided into XVIII parts referring, among others to the issues of testing, release and registration of seed variety, registration of seed merchants, seed production, field crop inspection, seed processing, seed sampling and testing. The regulations further provides rules for certification, sale of seeds, import and export of seeds, and post control testing.
