Strategic Plan 2020/21-2024/25 Accelerating Domestic and Foreign Direct Investment for Sustainable Industrialization.

The strategic focus areas of UIA's Strategic Plan 2020-2025 revolve around accelerating foreign and domestic direct investment for sustainable industrialization, emphasizing promoting Uganda as the preferred investment destination, improving competitiveness, accelerating industrialization, conducting research and advocacy, and enhancing institutional capacity. The priority programs for investment promotion identified within the context of NDP III include agro-industrialization, mineral development, tourism, private sector development, manufacturing, sustainable energy, and regional development. The Vision of the Uganda Investment Authority (UIA) is to achieve "A globally competitive Uganda, profitable for business and investment," aligning with Uganda’s Vision 2040 and NDP III goals. The Mission of UIA is to promote, attract, and retain value-adding domestic and foreign investments through robust marketing and investor-centric policies and services.
