Abstract
This Act establishes the Uganda National Council for Science and Technology as a body corporate and defines its objectives, functions and powers. The Council shall, among other things, assist in the promotion and development of indigenous science and technology and carry out scientific and technological research and development and technology transfer and adaptation. The Council shall have specialized committees including a committee for an agricultural sciences and a natural sciences committee.
