Abstract
This Act establishes the Uganda Tourist Board as a body corporate and defines its objectives, functions and powers. The Board shall promote the development of tourism in Uganda and set, enforce and monitor standards in the tourist industry. The Board shall be formed of, among others, representatives of agencies involved in environment protection. The Minister may, by Statutory Order, impose a tourism promotion levy.
