Water Act (General Rates) Instrument, 2017 (S.I. No. 33 of 2017).

This Instrument, made by the Minister under section 107(2)(q) of the Water Act, determines in the First schedule the rates payable by customers in respect of water supply and sewerage services in the towns and areas specified in Schedule 2 to these Regulations, where the National Water and Sewerage Corporation supplies water and provides sewerage services. It also determines the annual indexation of such rates against the domestic price index, exchange rate, foreign price index and the electricity tariff. The Instrument also determines penalties for illegal connection or taking of water.
