Abstract
Part 137 of Title 21 of the Federal Code of Regulations prescribes the food safety/quality provisions regarding the cereal flours and related products.
This Regulation closely provides the rules regarding the: definitions and general terms; concrete requirements for specific standardised cereal flours and related products (flour; bromated flour; enriched bromated flour; enriched flour; instantised flours; phosphated flour; self-rising flour; enriched self-rising flour; cracked wheat; crushed wheat; whole wheat flour; bromated whole wheat flour; white corn flour; yellow corn flour; durum flour; whole durum flour; white corn meal; bolted white corn meal; enriched corn meals; degerminated white corn meal; self-rising white corn meal; yellow corn meal; bolted yellow corn meal; degerminated yellow corn meal; self-rising yellow corn meal; farina; enriched farina; semolina; enriched rice).
