Abstract
This Part of Title 50 provide rules relating only to the hunting of migratory game birds, and crows. Migratory game birds may be taken, possessed, transported, shipped, exported, or imported only in accordance with the restrictions, conditions, and requirements contained in this part. Crows may be taken, possessed, transported, exported, or imported only in accordance with subpart H of this part and the restrictions, conditions, and requirements prescribed in § 20.133. This Part lays down regulations on migratory bird harvest information program; illegal hunting methods; closed seasons; possession limit; tagging requirement; requirements of marking of package or container and species identification during export and import; importation limits; foreign export permits; requirements and inspection of migratory bird preservation facilities; commercial and personal use of feathers or skins; and the issuance of the annual regulations establishing seasons, bag limits, and other requirements for the seasonal hunting of migratory birds. A list of migratory birds protected by the international conventions and the Migratory Bird Treaty Act appears in § 10.13 of this subchapter.
